PHP Backend Developer (f/m/x) at Parkside (Graz, Austria)

Your role

As our next PHP Backend Developer, you play a major role in creating and developing back-end applications as well as APIs.

• You use your PHP experience to create a scalable software architecture


• You develop PHP-based backend components in conjunction with the underlying database


• You develop REST API’s by utilizing a modern PHP-based framework


• You create fully automated tests for the features you develop


• You closely cooperate with the frontend developers and the design team


• You actively participate and take ownership throughout the whole development process

Your profile

• Relevant experience in backend and API development or educational background in related fields


• Excellent command of PHP, relational and non-relational databases


• Experience with a modern framework like Laravel, Symfony


• Good command of software architecture, automated testing and design of REST APIs


• Nice-to-have: JavaScript, NestJS, DevOps, containerization and Kubernetes


• Enthusiasm for User Experience (usability, accessibility) and a detail-oriented, quality-focused work style


• Motivation and passion for learning new things and honing your skills


• You don’t speak German? No big deal, English is our main language
