We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Golang (f/m/d)to join our Global Service Tech team to address our customers', riders', and restaurants' support issues quickly and with as little friction as possible which is crucial to our ability to create an amazing experience for our users.
In order to achieve this goal, we are building our own Automation & Support Platform to manage in-app support, self-service flows, transactional communication, automation of business processes, and other technologies that make ticket resolution more seamless: from the moment a user enters the customer support in the App, to make sure we have sufficient customer service agents available to solve the problem in a fast matter, and anything in between.
Your mission:
Provide a great experience for agents, customers, and riders who operate with Delivery Hero brands all over the world.
Be responsible for technically driving the development of a set of applications leveraging your skills, knowledge, and also bringing in your experience, expertise, and insight.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, peer review, and adherence to coding standards.
Mentor engineers in skills development and help them develop.
Plan process and technology improvement projects and influence other developers to collaborate on execution.
Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices
Your heroic skills:
3+ years of experience in backend engineering and preferable distributed systems
Deep knowledge of Golang Programming Language, Postgres and at least one NoSql DB
Advanced knowledge of distributed architecture, REST APIs, and comfortable with event-based communication and microservices.
Proficiency in cloud computing services, preferable GCP.
