AWS Cloud Operations Manager at Triple for Numo (Pittsburgh, PA)

We’re looking for a Manager of Cloud Operations to join the numo team. As the Manager of Cloud Operations, you'll manage a team of System Engineers and System Admins to plan, deploy, maintain, and support cloud SaaS and IaaS systems. You’ll work closely with the Director of IT to help our teams thrive in the face of rapidly changing technical requirements.

This full-time role will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation can be provided to highly-qualified candidates.

What you'll work on:

• Managing cloud processes and systems while adhering to SLAs


• Identifying issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact while ensuring cloud systems are highly available


• Managing change and approval processes


• Recommending appropriate courses of action for technical and infrastructure issues


• Ensuring the IT Operations team is in compliance with established internal processes and procedures.


• Proactively assisting architectural direction for new projects and systems


• Continually improving the core services and systems to customers and business partners


• Proficiency with design, implementation, and support of Cloud-based solutions


• Project planning and management skills, including the ability to identify and assess risk

A sampling of our current tools and the technologies we support: AWS, Okta, Office365, Google Workspace, Splunk, Box, Jamf, Atlassian products, Zscaler, Slack, Code42, and many other similar cloud-based solutions

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in traditional IT and/or cloud operations


• Minimum 2+ years of experience managing technical teams


• Adaptability in the face of shifting requirements or rapidly evolving technical needs


• Good documentation habits and a methodical approach to problem-solving


• Comfortable using git in a multi-team setting


• Experience implementing load balancers, application routers, or firewalls


• Automation-first approach to systems management, experience scripting and using configuration management tools


• Demonstrated ability to adopt new technologies, languages, and frameworks


• History of collaboration with multiple teams, able to productively interface with peers of varying skill levels
