About your team
We are a team with a diverse set of experiences from backend, networking, embedded software, and hardware that develop the applications and tools used to enable MOIA vehicles for ride sharing. While maintaining and monitoring in-vehicle components of our current fleet we also work on bringing the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service to reality. In that context, we develop safety-critical routines like computer vision-based cabin surveillance and customer-facing applications like passenger HMI.

- Be part of the full development life cycle, from design to implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Research and develop passenger management systems for an autonomously driving mobility service.
- Develop and maintain the full software stack running on our in-vehicle ECU, from the underlying OS to the applications including HMI, telemetry, and camera stream processing.
- Develop and improve the AWS-based backend infrastructure connected to our in-vehicle components (e.g. OTA updates).
- Extend and improve existing monitoring systems used to track the state of our fleet.
- Interface with VW Group, vendors, and other partners to align on software interfaces, tooling, and hardware.
What will help you to fulfil your role
- Working knowledge with one or more of modern C++, Python, and Go.
- Experience with the Linux platform as both user and developer.
- Familiar with ARM-based SBCs.
- Knowledgeable with some of the utilized software stacks like Yocto and ROS2.
- Experience in developing graphical user interfaces with Qt.

- Familiar with SiL and HiL testing integrated into CI/CD.
- Working knowledge with a leading cloud provider such as AWS.
- Fluent in English.
- Interest in applying agile development practices.
- Proactive, flexible, and hands-on mindset.
