We are currently looking for a Technical Product Owner (m/f/d) for our Core Platform Engineering team to take ownership of our Remote Gaming Platform consisting of multiple backend software products. This requires a thorough understanding of the components and their connections to be able to deal with functional requirements and also be able to challenge non-functional requirements.
The Technical Product Owner is expected to serve as the Customer (Stakeholder) proxy responsible for working with stakeholders—including other POs— and the team, to define and prioritise stories in the team backlog. This allows to effectively address program priorities (Features and Enablers) while maintaining technical integrity.
Also, the Technical Product Owner is responsible for the product's success by managing the product backlog, product roadmap and stakeholders’ expectations. The success of the product will be measured by specifically set KPIs (e.g. usage of features in production, added value in terms of revenue etc.). The main focus is collecting and documenting requirements, understanding stakeholders' needs and communicate them in a clear way to the development team.

YOUR TASKS
- Gathering and analysing requirements from various departments
- Understanding cross-departmental and cross-system dependencies to analyse requirements in a broader company-wide context
- Structuring and alignment of requirements with the development team including technical analysis
- Perform analysis according to product fit and feasibility
- Organising, managing and prioritising the team backlog
- Align team backlog and priorities with the department-wide master backlog
- Acting as primary liaison between the team and stakeholders
- Managing expectations of stakeholders
- Evaluation of the product progress as well as maintenance of the product vision
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong fundamentals in Requirements Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in (Technical) Product Owner role
- Good understanding and use of Scrum methodology
- Good understanding of complex software platforms, microservices, service-oriented architecture
- Confident use of modelling and visualisation techniques
- Confident use of tools supporting agile development
- Experience with Jira
- Clear and effective communication with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
- A high degree of self-organisation, individual initiative, and personal accountability
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Experience in the online gambling industry
- Experience in owning backend services
- Experience in software development (especially .NET or similar technologies)
- Certification as product owner
- Certification as requirements engineer (CPRE or similar)
