As a Backend Engineer of the Trust squad you will play a key role ensuring that the system is healthy and ensuring that collaboration with marketplaces is successful, driving technical conversations with external stakeholders, analysing their requests and providing solutions while keeping and improving quality of the service.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, maintain and operate the global product and its technical platform.
Ability to build and design technical solutions from scratch.
Deliver readable code and clear documentation.
Help to improve our ways of working and communicate best practices.
Continuously monitoring the health and quality of our systems.
Ability to identify and execute on opportunities for collaboration between teams and engineers across teams
Help the team find stable and scalable technical solutions
Participate and contribute to forming and implementing the product strategy of Trust & Reputation
Qualifications
Who you are
Extensive knowledge building REST APIs using Spring, Spring Boot & Cloud, Java or Kotlin
Experience in writing tests, including unit and integration tests as well.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and familiarity with Continuous Integration.
Familiar with cloud environments like AWS
Expertise with performance problems and ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Distinctiveness - someone who can help us raise the bar.
Experience owning a project from concept to production, including definition, discussion, and execution.
