Our team of Enablers is in charge of supporting the global Product and Tech organisation in engaging and collaborating effectively with our marketplaces. Enablers are the contact point between our products and our users and their mission is to understand our marketplace problems and find out how to solve them. As a Global Platform Engineer Coordinator you will be the glue between our marketplaces and our Internal Platform (a global Platform-as-a-Service called “Common Platform” built on top of Kubernetes). It’s a cross-team role with the main goal to support alignment, improve effectiveness and manage complex initiatives. The Common Platform is growing it’s adoption in Adevinta and today it’s supporting more than 1K deployments a week. Read more in this blog post.
What you’ll do:
Develop and maintain a good relationship with our different stakeholders, build trust so we get to understand their needs, challenges and opportunities.
Organise workshops, trainings, demos or any other form of “knowledge sharing” activities in order to facilitate the adoption and the understanding of our products.
Work closely with the Product and UX functions in identifying user needs and supporting them in increasing the adoption of our products.
Identify, bootstrap and execute projects to collaborate with our users (or other platform teams in Adevinta), owning and managing them until completion while keeping stakeholders informed.
Qualifications
Who you are:
Prior knowledge of working on software delivery projects: you have architected, built, designed or managed one.
Hands-on experience with programming languages such Java, Scala, Python, etc. and Cloud-based microservices. AWS knowledge is a huge plus.
Previous experience managing complex technical projects, being pragmatic on the problem solving and showing solid communication skills
Preferably, experience in large matrix organisations with many stakeholders and global products with geographically distributed teams.
