Senior PHP Developer (m/f/d) at Westwing Home & Living (Munich, Germany)

To pursue our ambitious expansion strategy, we are looking for a PHP Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our brand-new team in Accounting and Finance area. The team will be responsible for maintaining financial-related modules in our eCommerce platform, improving communication that financial-related data further to accounting software, and ensuring that all math is valid and accurate (So, love to work with numbers is a huge plus)

Your responsibilities:

• Take part in the development of different projects within the well-established company


• Work of the full software development life cycle: from the analysis, design up to implementing and deploying the final solution


• Provide value to the business with the code you produce


• Take full ownership of the software the team produces


• Ensure maintainability of the solution as well as blazing fast performance

You come with:

• Knowledge of most of the keywords described above


• Ability to convert your ideal solution for a given problem into the PHP code covered with sufficient tests coverage and put it inside the docker image


• Several years of experience in development with PHP OOP (Zend Framework/Yii/ Symfony experience is a plus)


• Experience with MySQL


• A proactive, goal-oriented, reliable, and self-structured way of working


• Fluency in English
