We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our central Data Science team. You will work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, contributing the insights gained from data analytics to improve data science models. You will be interacting with business stakeholders, product managers and data engineers, supporting them to make better decision making across the company. Thus you will have a strong impact on improving the process and user experience of how people sell and buy cars online and make a real impact on the market.
Your role
Use advanced data analytics techniques to gain valuable insights on our Retail business and the economics of the used car market
Proactively translate business needs into analytics questions with the goal of improving both the decision making within the company and the performance of data science models
Work on various topics including inventory selection/pricing/demand forecasting /conversion/profitability
Analyze experimental and non-experimental data with the aim of identifying causal effects
Ad-hoc analytics tasks to support management decisions
Your skills
Advanced statistical and quantitative knowledge with practical experience, we welcome candidates with academic experience in a quantitative research field
Proficient in SQL and Python. Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is a plus.
Demonstrated communication and visualisation skills that enable you to present findings in a clear and unambiguous way
Hands-on experience with a broad range of data analytics techniques and strategies to identify causal effects
Experience in effective collaboration, you are a natural team player and communicate fluently in English
