Ready to change the world with code? With hundreds of millions of users, we face the challenge of building a top-class backend infrastructure and applications every day. Our main tools of choice to build and maintain our backend platform are Containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Jenkins.
YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE BY:
- Taking ownership of our backend platform and software delivery process
- Experimenting with the latest cloud-native technologies to ensure a state-of-the-art (way of working)
- Building automation tools and scripts to support our backend systems using Kubernetes or Openshift
- Working together with your agile team to envision the next great features and outstanding applications of adidas Runtastic
- Writing tests and releasing & monitoring your code
- Improving our growing codebase
WHAT MAKES YOU THE RIGHT MATCH:
- Experience with Container orchestration (preferably based on Kubernetes or Openshift), previous experience with Ruby and Groovy is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on DevOps
- Knowledge of CI/CD (with a preference to Jenkins)
- Excellent Linux skills (shell, scripting, administration)
- Experience with the use of monitoring tools like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK stack
- Preferably, a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
- Very good English skills
- Curious, proactive mindset and eagerness to bring own ideas to shape the future of adidas Runtastic
And here’s the fine print: Our salary range starts at EUR 52,000 gross per year. Your actual offer depends on your skillset and experience.
