Our agile, cross-functional teams comprise of Back-end and Front-end Engineers, Solution Architects, QAs, Project Managers, DevOps and Data Engineers. This allows for strong collaboration within teams, but also work autonomy for each team. We are big on code reviews, pair programming and continuous upskilling, while maintaining a strong grasp on the fundamentals.

Get sh*t done, but do it right. Not only do we come up with crazy ideas and set 10x goals, we get our hands dirty by iterating (and reiterating) on those ideas and turning them into reality. (1) With us, you won't simply work with great tech, but you will help us shape the manner in which we use it and propose awesome new tech when suitable. (2) While we rely primarily on JAVA, React Native and etc., we are always eager to ensure that we are utilizing the right tools for the right tasks.

We follow the same logic with our codes as we do with our tremendous growth — Lean, clean and awesome (and of course purposeful too)! Behind this screen are a group of developers, designers, product managers, software engineers and data scientists who left their decade-long cosy corporate jobs to challenge the status quo. So for everything we do, we make a difference in people’s lives, including our own.

As Fintech company, “Tech” is the backbone of WeLab. Our engineering teams sizes its own work and makes commitments to deliver on sprints. We expect clarity in our execution, quality in code, prompt delivery of commitments, and accountability for our work. This responsibility is crucial for a platform that so many users rely on, and we rely on our engineering team to strike the right balance between stability and innovation in every aspect of our platform.

Our front end, back end, and QA engineer are committed to building the product we all love, making app interface jump through hoops, making big data look small and doing humanity a favour by upgrading legacy systems that are as old as time itself.

We’re obsessed with being data-driven, because just like hips, data don’t lie! Our dope tech stack, which includes advanced AI tech capabilities and multiple patents in privacy computing, allowing us to deliver intelligent, data-driven products to our users.
