With hundreds of millions of users, a growing number of microservices and our constantly evolving adidas Running and adidas Training apps, we face the challenge of building top-class applications every day. In our Architecture Guild you will be responsible for the overall architecture of your domain and support our development teams with a strategic view and the architecture vision in mind.
You’ll contribute by:
- Providing day-to-day guidance for our Engineering Teams and reviewing technical designs to ensure compliance with our overall architecture
- Monitoring IT trends to identify new capabilities, conducting proof of concepts and evolving our architecture patterns
- Identifying necessary changes to our system architecture and architecture patterns according to business needs and to meet operational requirements such as scalability, maintainability, security and reliability
- Understanding, communicating, and advocating for business and technology needs across our organization
- Translating business needs into technical solutions
What makes you the right match
- 5+ years of experience in software development and/or architecture
- 2+ years of experience with the architecture of large software systems
- Profound knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud native architectures
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent English skills
- Experience with mobile development is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
Salary Information
And here’s the fine print: Our salary range starts at EUR 60,000 gross per year. Your actual offer depends on your skillset and experience.
