About the team
Our Salesforce Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of all custom development in our Salesforce instance, which acts as the central operating system for our Marketing, Sales, Operations and Service processes.
Its mission is to present our customers with an intuitive onboarding and dashboard experience in a custom Salesforce Community while delivering to the operational needs of internal stakeholders and partners. In pursuit of this mission, the team implements best-in-class coding and development standards, systematic release processes, reliable testing and thorough quality assurance. It holds itself accountable not only for the timely delivery of high-quality software, but also for its close alignment with customers and stakeholder needs. As a member of the Salesforce Engineering team, you get to work closely with teams across LIQID – in particular Front-End, Back-End, DevOps, QA and Salesforce Administration – as well as with key external partners such as the Salesforce Customer Success Group.

About the role
As a Salesforce Engineer (m/f/d) you play a leading role in designing and delivering our Salesforce implementations and projects. Working closely not only with your fellow Salesforce Engineers & Tech Lead, but also with our Product. Frontend, Backend, QA Teams to develop new solutions using our Salesforce platform and other in-house technologies, to support the automation of sales and operations business processes into our platform.
What are some of your focus areas?
1. Implementing new solutions
You are in constant exchange with our Salesforce analysts in order to specify, design, develop, test and deploy solutions using the Salesforce platform. You make sure that all requirements are translated into clearly defined technical tasks, while ensuring expedient delivery across teams by interfacing with other engineers.
2. Designing and automating new solutions
Starting with our clients’ needs, you will design and deliver new Salesforce implementations. To further improve our ways of working, you will support the automation and integration of sales and operations business processes into our Salesforce platform.
3. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
You identify potentials for process improvement and automation - you challenge the status quo and take responsibility until the implementation is completed.
About you
What background are we looking for?
You have between 1-3 years of working experience as a Salesforce Engineer writing Apex & Javascript code, and you feel comfortable building UI components in LWC & Aura.
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
A good understanding of computer systems and how a large software-as-a-service system like Salesforce provides its services.
You have a good knowledge of object oriented programming & what makes for a good maintainable code.
You have some experience with Lightning framework: LWC & Aura, but would like to get deeper.
You have experience in integration of Salesforce (REST API, SOAP API, etc.) and with other enterprise systems.
You are fluent in English: spoken and written.
