We at Marley Spoon are looking for a Software Engineer to join our remote first, Liopard (Live operational data) team. This new team (3 - 5 engineers) is building systems from scratch to improve the workflow efficiency of our fulfillment centers and operations teams by aggregating, distributing, and leveraging near real time data. Over the next few years Marley Spoon will work to strengthen, standardize and streamline our operations capacity over 3 continents and Liopard’s role will be instrumental to that.

The scope for the team is broad and encompasses all operational activities, as a team we have the autonomy to decide what problems to solve, how best to solve them and how to iterate to maximize our impact.

Requirements

• Together with your team and the team's product manager, you will build the first version of Liopard’s systems to solve complex issues in our fulfillment centers across 3 different continents.


• Write testable and readable code, that runs fast and reliably


• Be part of the ongoing conversation about how we can best contribute to the challenges faced by our operations teams.


• Shape the future of our backend architecture keeping scalability in mind


• Work closely with the other teams and your teammates to arrive at the best possible feature implementation

• Experience in building scalable business applications with Python


• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and develop aopplication together with others
