Web Developer - Slido at Slido (Bratislava, Slovakia) (allows remote)

As a Web Developer on our team, you will delight thousands of our customers around the world coming to our web sites. We are looking for passionate individuals who enjoy building impactful, high-performance webs using up-to-date technologies. We are looking for a person who will help us with technology on the marketing side of our company.

Your role

• You will work closely with our marketing team


• You will produce nice scalable code and make high-quality impactful changes that enable our marketers to run A/B tests, create new landing pages and promote Slido


• Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Backend Development to spec, build, test and deploy new features


• Contribute to the work of various products from small internal tools to large-scale web applications used by thousands of people around the world


• Look for new solutions on how to use technology to improve our current processes processes


• Develop new stuff from an idea to its detailed implementation

Your profile

• You are generally curious about how things work


• You are experienced in Javascript, HTML, CSS and have knowledge of Javascript frameworks like React, Vuejs…


• Previous experience with static site generators like NextJs, Gatsby and knowledge of JAMStack


• Passion for user experience, ability to work closely with designers to build products and services which bring the best experience


• You feel ownership over everything you ship; you'd never call code done until you’re confident it’s correct and it is "released"


• You’re willing to make mistakes along the way and make sure you learn from them


• You are fond of the latest technological development


• Bonus points if you already implemented CMS system and has some experience with PHP
