Your job as Senior C++ Software Engineer

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer you will develop and implement the best solutions and architecture in a highly complex and often multidisciplinary environment. You will be involved in the entire process, ranging from the definition of requirements with the customer to the delivery. You will develop software interfaces which will interact with the real hardware, implement algorithms, working with object oriented designs. Creating solutions and integrating BDD will also be part of the job.

As a passionate and driven senior Engineer you will often use C++ as a programming language within our development projects, but the use of Python and C are also common. You will also have the opportunity to use and expand your knowledge of other technologies such as C#, Java, Linux or Windows.

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer at TOPIC

• you have a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in (applied) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics and/or Mathematics;


• you have at least 5 years of experience in software development in C++ and preferably other programming languages such a Python, C or C#;


• you are familiar with methodologies and techniques as UML, Design Patterns, TDD/BDD and Agile;


• You have an excellent command of English (both oral and written); knowledge of the Dutch language would be a big plus.

Our job structure model consists of several seniority levels ranging from Programmer to System Architect. Your position in the salary scale will be conform your previous experience and expertise. For this position we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The annual all-in benefit package will be between €50.000 and €64.000.
