Software Engineer in Test - Customer Service

Job description

Customer Service is a crucial part of successful e-commerce. As we are growing the team, we are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to complete us with a quality oriented mindset, who will promote agile test methodologies across area, support teams with test automation tools and help to make our test suites reliable: adequate, accurate, fast, resilient and robust, so the development can move on in quick, safe and stable way.

You will:

• Drive and develop test automation in the Customer Service area


• Work on acceptance criteria and test scenarios with PO and team


• Design test scenarios for all test levels and types (e.g. automated, regression, exploratory, ...)


• Create and optimise test frameworks and integrate them into deployment pipelines


• Participate in the process of code review of both production and test code to ensure all important cases are covered


• Share good testing practices across area


• Promote & train test-driven culture and quality focused mind-set

Requirements

Requirements:

• Ability to work in an autonomous, self-responsible and self-organised way


• Knowledge of test theory


• REST protocol and microservice architecture concepts - in scope of testing


• Skilled to write clean code, preferably in Java, Kotlin or Javascript


• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.


• UI test automation experience with Selenium or Cypress


• As our company is significantly focused on data, good command of SQL is also needed

It will be a plus to have:

• Interest in cross-team testing


• Experience in e-commerce customer service processes automation


• Agile tester certification
